Food for Thought

Just recently, I finished reading the book "The Firstborn Advantage" by Kevin Leman. I know that it's mostly a book for adults, but I still found it fascinating to see how the order in which you were born can affect your life.
This book basically explains why each member of the family (First/Only, Middle, Lastborn) are the way they are because of the conditions in the family when they were born. Of course, it mostly focuses on the firstborns, hence the name. But, another of Leman's books called "The Birth Order Book" focuses on all birth orders.
It's pretty amusing. After reading "The Firstborn Advantage" I find myself looking at everyone I know, and thinking "Oh, I bet that's a firstborn." Or "That's definitely a last born." And most of the time, I'm right. It's just great how much insight this book has given me into the personality of others.
Yes, this may sound like a book review. But if you think about it, you can realize how much science is involved, and how God designed a family so that it would run smoother with the balance of a firstborn, middle born, and last born.
